The Sacred shows up in unexpected places, and in the people you don’t expect to encounter it in. Jesus himself thoroughly enjoyed eating and drinking with many people. And, we model ourselves on Jesus’ way.

Doubt, questions, challenges are all part of relationships, even a faith oriented relationship. There are no easy answers, but there’s plenty of room to explore and find what’s right for you.

Actual Community

Two are better than one, one can lift up the other.

You may know us as Progressive Christians at Stanford: Episcopal Lutheran Campus Ministries. So, why Gay Jesus Group? Our students were already affectionately calling the community that, and they chose to make the official name match. It captures the important things in our life together: queer joy, Jesus, and room for questions. Our mission hasn’t changed: to love and serve all students, regardless of religious affiliation. And no, you don’t have to be gay (or Christian, for that matter) to belong.
